![]() "A good listener is not only popular everywhere, but after a while he gets to know something." -- Wilson Mizner From a psychological point of view, a transferee's thinking may not be clear, but their emotions are. No doubt that good counselling must include clear communication of policy benefits, and All Points Counsellors do that. But when it comes to the employees, non-program components are as, if not more, important than the Relocation Program components, and our Counsellors are trained in the ratio of 80% listening, 20% speaking when it comes to non-program conversations. Our Counsellors are also trained to recognize and overcome the overlapping reasons for "Unasked Questions." More time spent with the transferees and ensuring that spouses are part of the relocation team are essential parts of our counselling maxim.
